Symposium in China and the Focus on Polysaccharides
I’m often asked about the little bottle of powder called “PXP” when I take a scoop and drop it directly in my mouth. I smile as the powder dissolves, and take a drink of water so that my words don’t come spitting out like someone who’s just bitten into a mouthful of crackers, and then I calmly say, “it’s polysaccharide x peptides“. Their response is typically, “Oh, that explains it”, but their eyes say, “Tell me more”.
Polysaccharide X Peptides
Polysaccharides are simply a food for our cells, and PXP or polysaccharide x peptides is the simplest form in the sense that they are the alfa form. Why alfa form? Easier to absorb and transport, easier to pass through the cell wall so that it can do some good instead of being broken down or flushed out of the body.

There was a symposium that took place in China in September 2011 for “botanical products, bio-pharmaceuticals, and traditional Chinese medicines”. Mentioned as a topic for discussion was polysaccharides and peptides. That’s what PXP is, a biologically active substance aka food.

Mentioned in the news release are the many benefits that have been studied in terms of polysaccharides. Mention the word “synthetic” and you will not be talking about polysaccharides.
