Mitochondria, Energy and Function

Mitochondrial disease is called a “hidden disease” because it is difficult to detect. Your mitochondria are the power houses of the body. Inside the mitochondria the components needed to make energy.

How We Make Energy – Mitochondria

To make energy we have to have five energy stations. Each must work to create enough energy. We accept energy from food, sending the fuel to a containing component and then we can use that energy.

When MitoChondria Don’t Function

What happens when there is a break in the function? Sick cells cannot produce the energy they need. Translate this to the body as a whole, and you’ll see that tiredness translates across the body in every way possible.

Overall Health Begins on the Cell Level – How Cells Work

Cells need fuel to do their work, and without adequate fuel it is unreasonable for us to expect our cells to function at their peak. What are your goals? To improve your thought processes, clearing your mind and increasing your mental function? What about detoxification, clearing the health inhibiting waste products from your cells so that the aches and pains go away? What about those who are already in great shape? Can you, without damaging steroids, improve your performance?

Cellular Health

It all gets down to our cells. Overall health begins on a cellular level. What exactly does this mean? How much of our ability to perform and thrive in this world is controlled by the ability to produce energy in our cells? This is where the wonder of PXP and the polysaccharide peptides come into play: pure, real food that cells can readily use to produce energy.

Inside Our Cells

This video talks about the amazing inner workings of our cells, for information and entertainment. You can also explore the world of PXP, and the energy-producing glyco nutrition world.

Energy – Mitochondria Function

ATP Cycle

Why is ATP so important? How is a cell supposed to function, do its job, heal itself without the energy it needs? When we look at PXP we look at tiny particles of bioready nutrients that can enter the cell and be used by the mitochondria to produce ATP.

Hey class! Today our teachers are describing how ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is dephosphorylated into ADP (adenosine diphosphate), and how ADP phosphorylates to make ATP: The ATP Cyle. When you remove a phosphate group from ATP, it is called dephosphorylation. Dephosphorylation is an exergonic reaction, meaning it is a reaction that releases energy. When ATP goes through this process, ADP is made. Differently, during phosphorylation to make ADP into ATP, a phosphate group is added on. This is an endergonic reaction, meaning this process requires energy. By Aaron Coleman, Anna Jacoby and Abigail Gavens

Mitochondria: Powerhouses of the cell

This is a computer animation of mitochondria in a human cell – an example of the capabilities of Neal Moore Communications in 2D and 3D animation. Computer animation allows us to model virtually any kind of environment – from microscopic views of life sciences research to a building, a bridge, a commuter rail system, etc. Contact Neal Moore Communications today for a consultation – you’ll find our pricing for 2D and 3D animation very affordable, and of the highest quality. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Mitochondria: Keeping Life on the Move

Comical as it seems this is the truth of the matter – your cells need the fuel to product that cellular energy called ATP that helps you do – everything! Think, move, act, calculate, the list goes on.

Biology of a Cell

This is an amazing video, a 17 minute look inside our cells. Cell biologists are beginning to understand the structure, function and history of these highly organized, complex, chemical factories that are the building blocks of life. Voyage into the microscopic world of prokaryotic, eukaryotic cells, chloroplasts, and mitochondria. This video was produced by the Phoenix Learning Group.
