Difference between Amino Acids and Peptides?

“Okay, I’ve watched some of the videos and read articles, but I still am not sure. What is the difference between Amino Acids and Peptides?”

How does pH affect peptides in solution?

I am fairly new to peptides but here but the first peptide I have listed is INSOLUBLE in water and the second is soluble in water, how can the addition of d-arg14 and d-arg15 for the two arginines, make the difference in water solubility?
