Humic Fulvic Inhibitor and Alzheimer’s Disease
HFI or Humic Fulvic Inhibitor, a natural substance, has been identified as an effective viral inhibitor, and studies continue to look into the many other uses of Humic Fulvic Inhibitor for certain health concerns.
A Natural Alzheimer’s Treatment?
Alzheimer’s disease is commonly known today, a neurodegenerative disorder that has been identified to involve extracellular plaques as well as intracellular bundles of tau protein. The question has been asked: how can those tau filaments be either inhibited?
Fulvic acid, or Humic Fulvic Inhibitor contains several properties that can potentially protect cognitive impairment.
Humic Fulvic Inhibitor and Alzheimer’s
In a study at the International Center for Biomedicine in Chile an in vitro study was conducted on the use of Humic Fulvic Inhibitor to inhibit tau protein. The study also asked the question, can Humic Fulvic Inhibitor or fulvic acid be used to disassemble preformed tau protein helical filaments (PHF’s)?
The findings? Fulvic acid did indeed diminish the length of PHF’s, showing this natural product to be a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
This study can be found in the Journal of Alzheimer’s disease, published July 22, 2011.
